Torch On Membrane
Torch on membrane waterproofing is a method of waterproofing repair commonly used on exposed concrete flat roofs and balconies. It is a preformed membrane made up of bitumen and polymer that acts as an additional barrier between the existing concrete surface and the harsh weather conditions (Rain and Shine) after application.
The method of repair consists of applying a coat of bituminous primer followed by a flame torch applied APP-modified mineral preformed membrane.
The advantages of Torch on membrane is

Acrylic coating with Fiberglass (5 coats system)
Acrylic coating is commonly used on exposed pitch/tile roof, metal roof and concrete surfaces. It is a acrylic based elastomeric liquid applied coating that will cure into a durable seamless membrane that has resistance to algae and can withstand light foot traffic.
The method of repair consists of a primer coat, the first coat, laying of fibreglass netting, the second coat, followed by the final coat. It also can be spray applied with a minimum of two coats.
